The age of digital assets is just beginning and there is a gap of knowledge in our societies relative to the understanding of this technology. Those who participate in the digital asset economy have been for quite some time and are considered “crypto native”. Those who have yet to participate will not be able to without great adaptability and an extensive learning curve.
As with everything in education, a very solid understanding of the fundamental building blocks is the best place to begin, enter “Crypto 101: Technology Behind Cryptocurrency: What is the Blockchain?”. This course is the first stop on my roadmap outlining the drive to the summit of “high altitude returns” on the mountain of Crypto Resources I provide. The technology behind the Cryptocurrency is extensive and new but a pivotal part of not only your success with investing but also your success in grasping the risky nature of sending and receiving cryptocurrencies.
The technology behind cryptocurrency is genius but very extensive and very unfamiliar territory. Afterall, the cryptocurrencies operate exclusively online and we have only been using the internet as a society for roughly 30 years. In those 30 years we have been using the internet to communicate (mostly) and for e-commerce but never have we had the capacity to send large sums of money instantly as far and wide as we desire. The blockchain technology has made this possible. Through the use of electricity, software on the internet, cryptography and a network of users we can now access a “trustless” way to transact with one another and this is radically changing the world at a very rapid pace.
In this course I will break down the technology behind cryptocurrency and logically piece it back together for you to consume in a manner that is digestible for a beginner. This space is notorious for moving fast and creating a lot of fear and doubt. The only way to counter this is to educate yourself and the resources to do that are slim. You can count on these courses to guide you in a sensible and clear manner when everything else around you is confusing and too complex. I will present the techy facts for those who do like that type of discussion but then leave you with what is really important to know and grasp in order to move forward so you can feel confident in your approach to this ever evolving topic.
